Reginald F. (Rick) Walker Chairman of the Board Val Caron, Ontario Mr. Walker has been the operator/owner of Consbec Inc. since 1975, one of the largest private drilling and blasting contractor in North America. Mr. Walker has extensive experience in open pit mining and quarrying including Hemlo, and North American Palladium, large and small diameter pipeline, road construction and civil projects. His open pit experience involves pit design, government regulatory requirements, wall control and drainage control. He also owns G.D. Drilling Supplies Ltd. which is a Gardner-Denver distributorship and D.B.C. Aggregates Ltd. which is involved in quarry exploration and development. Mr. Walker was Chairman of the Board of the Corporation from April, 1995 to June, 1996 and from December, 1997 to present. He is a member of the International Society of Explosive Engineers and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. |
Mike Koziol Director Sudbury, Ontario
Mr. Koziol serves as the President and Director of Alto Ventures Ltd. and resides in Sudbury, Ontario. Alto Ventures Ltd. (Alto) is a Canadian gold exploration company with projects in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and British Columbia. Mr. Koziol is a geologist with 32 years of experience exploring for gold and base metals in the Canadian Shield. He played key roles in a number of gold and base metals discoveries during his career with Saskatchewan Mining Development Corporation and Cameco Gold Inc. (CGI), including the McIlvenna Bay Copper-Zinc deposit, Saskatchewan, and the Comtois and Destiny gold deposits in Quebec. During his tenure as District Geologist from 1996 to 2002, Mr. Koziol was responsible for all exploration activities carried out by CGI in Eastern Canada, where he evaluated, acquired, and managed a number of multimillion dollar gold exploration projects in Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. While at Alto Mike has acquired a number of high potential gold projects in Quebec and Ontario and is working to advance them.
Mr. Koziol graduated with a BSc degree in Geological Sciences from McGill University in 1978 and holds a number of professional and technical memberships including the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario (P. Geo.), and the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario (P. Eng.). Mr Koziol also is a core member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.

John G. Kelly B.Sc. (Eng.), P. Eng., Director Sudbury, Ontario Mr. Kelly has been with Inco Ltd. of Sudbury since 1970. In 1989 Mr. Kelly was named Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering and in 1991 he was appointed Vice President of Mining, Ontario Division. After retiring in 1998 he became President of JGK Mining Services, a mining consultancy based in Sudbury, Ontario. Mr. Kelly is a Professional Engineer and a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He currently serves on the Board of Governors of Cambrian College and on the Board of NORCAT, the Northern Centre for Advanced Technology. |
Robert J. McLean C.H.R.P., Director and Corporate Secretary Sudbury, Ontario Mr. McLean has been involved in underground mining and administration since 1963. Mr. McLean has worked with Kerr Addison Gold Mines, Rio Algom Mines Ltd., Denison Mines, Gould Copper Mines Ltd., Canadian Mines Services and McBeau Minerals Inc. in varying capacities including underground miner, development and production supervisor, captain and general mine superintendent. Mr. McLean is presently employed as Director, Safety & Human Resources with The Moran Group of companies in Sudbury Ontario. Mr. McLean is President of Gould Copper Mines Ltd., and Vice President and Director of McBeau Minerals Inc. Mr. McLean brings 35 years of mining experience and 15 years of experience in labour relations, safety, personnel management and administration to Houston Lake. He earned the appellation of Certified Human Resource Professional in 1991 and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a director of Ontario Mine Rescue Advisory Committee and chairman of the Ontario Mining Contractors. |
Henry J. Kloepper, Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ) Toronto, Ontario Mr. Kloepper has been involved in investment banking and structured finance over a 30 year career. He brings a rounded knowledge of the capital markets, strategic growth and investments. In the past, Mr. Kloepper has worked in executive positions with JP Morgan, Citibank, Bank of America, and North American Trust in Canada, the US and Europe.
Mr. Kloepper is a director and past consultant to companies ranging from the resource sector, mobile lottery and gaming technologies to manufacturing. His responsibilities have varied from chairing the audit committee to being President and CEO of a public company that recently made strategic investments in the food and beverage industry. More recently, Mr. Kloepper was also the COO of ViaBank Ltd., West Indies.
Currently, Mr. Kloepper amongst others, is a director of Mogul Energy International Inc. Houston, Texas; GameCorp Ltd. and District Canada Inc. both based in Toronto, Canada.

Trevor R. Walker, Honours BA, MBA President Sudbury, Ontario
Prior to joining Houston Lake, Mr. Trevor R. Walker was Vice President of the Consbec Group of Companies where he accumulated years of experience in mining and construction. During his tenure at Consbec, he personally worked with companies such as GoldCorp, Rio Tinto, Westdome, Barrick, Noranda, Agrium and Unimin as well as other major companies. Mr. Walker holds an honours BA from the University of Western Ontario, and an MBA from Webster University Geneva, Switzerland.
